For an Independent City Treasurer
Together, let’s build a brighter future for Peoria.

Why am I running

When the position of City Treasurer became vacant, I saw an opportunity to bring my experience and dedication to serve the people of Peoria in a new and impactful way. I believe this role is vital to the well-being and financial stewardship of our community, and I’m confident I can excel in it.

With an MBA, 12 years of experience as a Peoria City Councilman, and over 32 years as a CEO and business owner, I bring a wealth of knowledge and proven leadership to this position. As Treasurer, I will leverage my expertise to manage our city’s finances with integrity, transparency, and precision.
The Treasurer’s role is not one to be taken lightly—it requires experience, vision, and a commitment to getting it right for the citizens of Peoria. This is not a position for someone to learn on the job at the expense of our community. I am ready to take on this exciting and challenging responsibility and ensure that Peoria’s financial future is in capable hands.

Together, let’s build a brighter future for Peoria.

3. I will issue a biannual financial report to keepthe taxpayers informed of the city’s financial condition. The people deserve toknow exactly how the city is doing financially.

4. Reestablish the Treasurer’s position and office withall departments in city hall, city council members and mayor, and all localpolicy makers. I plan to meet with the council on a regular basis to discusscity business and the financials of the city.
